Tottenham Hotspur put their domestic struggles aside to secure a spot in the Champions League last 16 with a 2-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Randal Kolo Muani scored against his former club, and Dominic Solanke added a second-half goal to seal the victory for Tottenham.

Tottenham had a promising start to the game, with Xavi Simons tapping in from a rebound, but the goal was ruled out for a foul in the build-up.

The hosts’ goalkeeper, Kauã Santos, made some impressive saves, and the first half remained goalless.

The breakthrough came just two minutes into the second half, with Kolo Muani scoring against his former club. Cristian Romero headed the ball back across goal, and Kolo Muani steered it home.

The win was all but secured when Solanke pounced on a wayward Frankfurt header and slid a composed finish past Santos. Tottenham’s defense stood firm, and they claimed their sixth clean sheet of the league phase.

This impressive win puts Tottenham in fourth place in the standings, avoiding the play-off round and securing a spot in the last 16. Frankfurt, on the other hand, finishes 33rd with just four points from eight games.
