Tottenham Hotspur face a huge injury concern ahead of their Europa League final against Manchester United on May 21, as Swedish attacker Dejan Kulusevski is doubtful due to a knee injury sustained during their Premier League match against Crystal Palace.

Kulusevski was forced off in the 19th minute after a challenge from Palace’s Marc Guehi, having attempted to continue playing but ultimately exiting the field and heading straight down the tunnel. This setback is particularly troubling for Spurs, who are already without midfielders James Maddison and Lucas Bergvall due to injuries.

Despite the immediate concerns, manager Ange Postecoglou has expressed optimism about Kulusevski’s availability for the final, stating that the medical team is “not too concerned” and that the player “should be OK.” However, Kulusevski’s absence from training sessions following the injury has left his participation in the final uncertain.

Kulusevski has been instrumental in Tottenham’s European campaign, contributing 10 goals and 11 assists across all competitions this season. His potential absence in the final would be a significant blow to Spurs’ attacking options as they seek their first major trophy since 2008.

As the final approaches, Tottenham’s medical staff will closely monitor Kulusevski’s recovery, with hopes that he can regain fitness in time to feature in the crucial match in Bilbao.
