Thomas Muller is considering his options after announcing his departure from Bayern Munich.
AC Milan is reportedly interested in signing him to a one-year deal, with Massimiliano Allegri set to begin his second spell with the club. Fiorentina were initially linked as the frontrunners to sign Muller, but he seemed uninterested in a move to Florence.
AC Milan has been active in the summer transfer window and is also reportedly keen on signing free agent Sergio Reguilon.
Muller joining Milan would be a big move for the Serie A side. However, Muller’s options aren’t limited to Milan, as he’s also been linked to a move to the MLS, with Los Angeles FC offering attractive packages, including a mansion in Beverly Hills.
Muller is taking his time to decide, emphasising that the overall package needs to be right. He’s hinted at retirement if the conditions aren’t met, but an MLS move seems more favourable than hanging up his boots. Despite being 35, Muller has shown impressive form, contributing to 16 goals in 48 appearances recently.
