Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank hails Xavi Simons’ breakthrough performance, saying the Dutch midfielder ‘can produce out of nothing’.

Thomas Frank has praised Xavi Simons’ impressive performance in the team’s 2-0 win over Brentford. Simons scored his first Premier League goal and provided an assist, earning him high praise from Frank.

The Dutch midfielder has been under pressure to perform since joining Spurs from RB Leipzig for £51 million, but Frank believes he’s settling in well. “That’s what I believed from the beginning, that Xavi can produce that out of nothing,” Frank said.

Frank attributes Simons’ success to his growing confidence and adaptation to the team. “Every player needs that extra bit of confidence. That comes from his performance, the team’s performance,” he explained.

Simons’ goal and assist gave him a boost, and Frank is eager to see more from him. “This was a very good step. Now it’s the next thing to do it again and again and again,” Frank added.

The manager also praised Simons’ work ethic and determination, calling him a “top pro” who’s “so determined” to succeed. Frank believes the team is coming together, with Simons, Randal Kolo Muani, and Richarlison all in good form.

With this win, Tottenham Hotspur moves up the league table, and Frank will be looking to build on this momentum in their upcoming matches.
