Thomas Frank believes he can turn the team’s fortunes around, citing his past successes at Brondby and Brentford.

Thomas Frank is confident that he can lead Tottenham Hotspur out of their current slump, drawing on his experience of turning around slow starts at his previous clubs, Brondby and Brentford. The 52-year-old manager joined Spurs in June and is determined to make a mark.

Frank’s confidence stems from his past successes, where he didn’t win the first eight games at Brondby but went unbeaten in nine, and at Brentford, he lost eight out of 10 games but then went unbeaten in 10. “So I am convinced we will see a similar pattern here,” he said.

Tottenham are currently 14th in the Premier League table, with one win in their last eight league matches. Frank is aware of the challenges but is convinced he can make a competitive team.

The manager has never spent more time thinking about the game, but he’s optimistic about the future. “The good thing is I’ve always been a good sleeper so that’s helpful,” he said.

Frank emphasized that he’s not in doubt about his ability to turn things around. “I know how to make a competitive team. We will make a very competitive team here, as well,” he added.

The pressure is on Frank, with Tottenham’s fans growing restless. However, he believes that with time, the team will start to click. “It’s normal. It’s not the first time in my career I haven’t found the team instantly, but it’s coming over time,” he said.
