The battle for the remaining Champions League spots in Serie A is getting to a crucial point, with Juventus, Roma, and Bologna still in contention for the fourth spot. With just two games to go, each team’s upcoming fixtures will determine their European fate.

Juventus, currently fourth, face a challenging away match against Udinese. A victory would virtually guarantee their place in the top four, but any slip-up could open the door for their rivals. Juve haven’t been their usual selves, and getting to the Champions League could serve as a huge positive for what has been a tumultuous season.

Roma, sitting just behind Juventus and Lazio, host eighth-place AC Milan. Roma have found new life under Claudio Ranieri and have positioned themselves in a good spot to claim UCL football. They just had their unbeaten run broken by Atalanta last week and will be looking to bounce back, but it won’t be easy.

AC Milan come into the match off the back of a 1-0 loss to Bologna in the Coppa Italia final. They don’t seem likely to make Europe next season, but with 2 points off 7th-placed Bologna, and if they can claim 6 points from their last two games, they may likely get into Europe next season. The tie is a tough one for both sides, but it comes down to who wants it more.

Bologna, in sixth place, have been one of the season’s surprise packages. Under manager Vincenzo Italiano, they have already secured Europa League football and recently won the Coppa Italia, ending a 51-year trophy drought. Their upcoming fixtures include a trip to Fiorentina before hosting Genoa.

Although they have been confirmed to play in the Europa League next season by winning the Coppa Italia, they won’t want to drop any points going forward, as AC Milan can overtake them while also losing a shot at the Champions League next season.

With all the matches taking place at the same time, it’ll be a frantic watch for fans as you can definitely expect goals and a lot of drama. For the teams involved, every match will feel like a final, and they must do everything within their power to win.
