Teams Qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup

This is latest list of teams that have qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Find out which nations from Asia, Oceania, South America, and North America have secured their spots.

The road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup is heating up, with several teams already securing their spots in the tournament. A total of 13 teams have qualified so far, representing various regions around the world. The qualified teams come from Asia, South America, North America, and Oceania.

In Asia, six teams have confirmed their qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. These teams include Iran, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Jordan, Australia, and Japan. Uzbekistan made history by qualifying for their first-ever World Cup on June 5, 2025, after a 0-0 draw against the United Arab Emirates in AFC qualifying.

From South America, three teams have secured their spots in the tournament. Argentina, Brazil, and Ecuador have qualified through the CONMEBOL region qualifying matches.

The co-hosting nations from North America, Canada, Mexico, and the United States, have also qualified for the tournament.

New Zealand is the only team from Oceania to have confirmed their qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. They secured their spot by winning the third-round playoff final against New Caledonia on March 24, 2025.

No teams from Africa or Europe have confirmed their spots so far, as the first round of qualifying matches does not conclude until October 16 and November 18, 2025, respectively. The qualification process is ongoing, with more teams expected to secure their spots in the coming months.
