This question would have come to Enzo Maresca’s table countless times this season, especially in the past few weeks. 

Chelsea fans are also asking and answering the question of the club signing Jadon Sancho. If you ask me, would it be bad if they did?

The money aspect isn’t really a problem for the club, especially if you consider that they’ll be getting him for a lot less than what Manchester United paid to purchase the English winger. 

So, should they sign him?

All the signals are pointing towards a yes, and if you ask Sancho, he would want to stay. The winger has been impressive for Chelsea this season, and he’s found himself thriving again. While his end product hasn’t been the best, he’s provided crucial goals for the club in dire situations. 

Enzo Maresca spoke on the matter in a press conference, saying for now, Sancho is his player and needs to improve his number. Well, it’s a general Chelsea problem when you look at the statistics of their wingers, and the manager acknowledged that all his players need to up their game.

Sancho is a player Chelsea can rely on, as we have seen this season. He has played a good number of games, fought, and still is fighting to be up the pecking order on the wings. 

He has blended smoothly with the squad and seems to be fitting right into Maresca’s plan, so why not buy him. It seems like an obvious decision at this point.

The decision is up to the Chelsea board and also depends on Sancho’s ability to convince the board in the remaining games of the season. If he can, it looks like he may be a part of the Chelsea team going into next season.
