Ahead of the final day in the Italian Serie A, the race for the top four spots has reached a tipping point as every point matters.

Looking at the Serie A table, Napoli, Inter Milan, and Atalanta have sealed the top three spots, leaving just one spot up for grabs.

As it stands, Juventus, Roma and Lazio are still in the fight for that final spot. Juventus are currently fourth on the table with 67 points, AS Roma are holding down the fifth spot with 66 points, while Lazio are 6th with 65 points. The gap is not so big, and any slip-ups will see their rivals take over. 

For Lazio, it is even tougher. They are currently guaranteed Europa Conference League football if they finish 6th. A draw will guarantee that, but if they lose, they could lose their European spot to Fiorentina who are on 62 points. Bologna are also on 62 points but have been guaranteed a place in the Europa League after winning the Coppa Italia.

Every team’s fate is in their hands. To make it to Europe next season, the goal is simple. Win your final game while praying results from other centers are in your favour. 

Although the final day of the Serie A campaign starts on Friday with Inter Milan and Napoli playing the matches that could decide the title, the rest of the teams don’t play until tomorrow with kickoff scheduled for the same time across all venues 

Roma face Torino, Juventus face Venezia, Lazio play Lecce and Fiorentina face Udinese. The first order of business for all the teams is to win. The subject of results from other clubs come after. 

The final day in Serie A will bring a lot of tension and drama. The race for European football is at its peak and these teams will be fighting to ensure they take their place in Europe next season.
