Roma are preparing talks with Liverpool over the possible signing of left back Kostas Tsimikas.
According to reports in Italy, officials from the Serie A club will meet their Liverpool counterparts this week to explore terms for a potential deal.
Roma are thought to favour a loan move, though it remains to be seen whether the Premier League champions would sanction such an arrangement. Ligue 1 side Marseille also monitoring the defender’s situation
Tsimikas has been a dependable deputy to Andy Robertson since his arrival from Olympiacos in 2020, but his opportunities are set to decrease following Liverpool’s summer signing of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth.
The Greece international is now effectively third choice at left-back and is expected to seek regular minutes elsewhere.
The 29-year-old has made 115 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool, providing 18 assists. His most memorable contribution came in the 2022 FA Cup final, when he converted the decisive penalty against Chelsea.
