Roma are closing in on a double agreement for Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho and Aston Villa’s Leon Bailey, with both players reportedly open to joining the Italian club.

AS Roma are making significant progress in its pursuit of two top wingers, Jadon Sancho from Manchester United, and Leon Bailey from Aston Villa.

The Italian club has reportedly agreed on personal terms with Sancho, including a substantial pay cut to €4.5 million net per season plus bonuses. Manchester United seems ready to accept Roma’s proposal of €23 million for the 25-year-old England international.

Sancho’s move to Roma comes after he lost patience with Juventus, which had been in talks with Manchester United for his signature. The winger’s decision to join Roma reflects his desire to play in the Serie A and potentially revive his career.

With Sancho’s talent and experience, Roma hopes to strengthen its attacking lineup and make a strong push for European qualification.

Meanwhile, Roma is also nearing a deal for Aston Villa’s Leon Bailey. The Jamaican international would join Roma on a loan deal with an option to buy, which would become obligatory if certain conditions are met. Bailey’s agents are reportedly in Italy for direct talks with Roma over personal terms, indicating that the deal is progressing well.

The potential double signing of Sancho and Bailey would be a significant boost to Roma’s squad, providing the team with two high-quality wingers to compete in the Serie A and European competitions.

Roma’s coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, has reportedly been keen on signing both players to mold the team into the form he wants.
