United are seeking a permanent sale of the 25-year-old, whose contract runs until June 2026

Roma have submitted a £20 million offer to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on a permanent deal.

The proposal from the Italian side includes a fixed fee with add-ons, but negotiations are still at an early stage and Sancho has yet to indicate whether he is open to the move.

United are seeking a permanent sale of the 25-year-old, whose contract runs until June 2026.

Sancho spent last season on loan at Chelsea and the club activated their obligation to buy in April, but the deal collapsed due to Sancho’s wage demands. Chelsea had to pay £5m to send him back to Old Trafford.

During his year at Stamford Bridge, Sancho made 42 appearances, scoring five goals and providing ten assists. He helped Chelsea win the Conference League and secure a fourth-place Premier League finish.

Sancho was not involved in United’s pre-season plans and was among a group of senior players instructed to train separately from the main squad earlier this summer. His last appearance for the club came in the 2024 Community Shield.
