Last week, UEFA announced the round of 16 draws for the UEFA Champions League and there were some blockbuster games.
After completing the UCL playoffs and seeing some European heavyweights crash out of the competition, the UEFA Champions League progressed to the round of 16.
The draws were held on 27th February in Switzerland and as usual, the draws have delivered some blockbuster games.
Some of the top games will see Chelsea play reigning champions PSG while Manchester City take on Real Madrid and Barcelona play Newcastle United .

The knockout games are scheduled to take place on the 10th and 11th of March with the return legs scheduled for 17th and 18th of March.
UCL RO16 Predictions
Ahead of the games here are our first leg predictions:
PSG vs Chelsea
Both teams are meeting again after the FIFA Club World Cup final where Chelsea won 3-0.

Galatasaray vs Liverpool
Galatasaray and Liverpool meet again after Galatasaray took a narrow 1-0 win
Prediction: Liverpool qualify.
Real Madrid vs Manchester City
Both teams have met every year since 2020, with 2021 being the only exception. This fixture promises to be an exciting one.
Prediction: Real Madrid qualify
Atalanta vs Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich face a team that have just eliminated a German team. Will the Bavarians get revenge for Borussia Dortmund and save the face of their league or will Atalanta keep the Italian flag flying high

Newcastle United vs Barcelona
Both teams met earlier with Barcelona taking the upper hand and we predict it will happen again.
Prediction: Barcelona qualify
Atletico Madrid vs Tottenham Hotspur
This game feels a bit balanced. Although Tottenham’s league position says they are poor in the Premier League, reaching the UCL RO16 is no small feat. However, beating Atletico will not be an easy task.

Bodo/Glimt vs Sporting CP
This game would have a lot of neutrals on their feet and excited. Bodo/Glimt are on a storied run but we’ll wait to see if that run will be ended by a talented Sporting side.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Arsenal
Arguably the best team in Europe take on former Bundesliga champions, Bayer Leverkusen. It could be an upset if Leverkusen find a way to topple the ever-dominant Arsenal who are yet to lose a game in the UCL this season.
