PSV Eindhoven Stuns Napoli in Thrilling 6-2 Win

PSV Eindhoven fought back to stun 10-man Napoli with an incredible 6-2 win for their first Champions League victory of the season. 

The Dutch team turned the game around after Scott McTominay opened the scoring for Napoli.The Scotland international’s opener was quickly forgotten as PSV turned things around with Ismael Saibari’s stunning strike, putting the Dutch team in front after Alessandro Buongiorno’s own goal.

This marked the beginning of a thrilling comeback for PSV as Dennis Man added two more goals for the hosts. The game took a dramatic turn when Lorenzo Lucca was sent off in the 76th minute for arguing with the referee about a decision against him, leaving Napoli with 10 men.

McTominay pulled a goal back for the visitors with five minutes of normal time remaining, but it was too little, too late. Ricardo Pepi restored the three-goal cushion, and Couhaib Driouech rounded off a perfect evening for PSV with a sublime long-range effort.

The win marks a perfect evening for PSV, who jump above Napoli into 11th in the league phase of the Champions League. On the other hand, it’s a second straight defeat for Antonio Conte’s team, who missed the opportunity to move to the top of Serie A.
