PSG vs Monaco: Team News, Predicted XI

PSG and Monaco face off in an all-French showdown as the UEFA Champions League playoffs begin today.

PSG and Monaco meet for the first time since 2025 as they both fight for a spot in the UEFA Champions League round of 16.

PSG, the defending champions, failed to make it into the top 8, following the same route as last season. PSG come into this game having lost 3-1 to Rennes and dropping to second in the Ligue 1.

For the second successive season, Monaco find themselves in the Champions League knockout phase, which appears a respectable achievement for a side that endured an uneven league-phase campaign.

It’ll be a tough fixture for both sides, and football fans will be expecting a tough game.

Team News

Monaco will be without Pape Cabral, who is unavailable due to a muscle injury, while both Lamine Camara and Maghnes Akliouche are doubts after being forced off last time out.

PSG will continue without winger Quentin Ndjantou due to a lingering hamstring complaint, while Fabian Ruiz is set to miss a sixth straight outing with a knee issue.
