Beating Inter in that manner in the UCL wasn’t just for them to win the Champions League; it was a statement. 

PSG have sent to the rest of Europe after winning the UEFA Champions League in stunning fashion. PSG were rampant and dominant in the 90 minutes that led them to UCL triumph, which they have chased for a while now.

Their road to the final was a champion-worthy one. They almost crashed out for the UCL in the league phase but turned their sails after a 4-2 comeback against Manchester City. Since then, PSG have been on a rampage, beating three of the best three Premier League teams in their run to the finals.

If those wins haven’t shown that they were worthy competitors, they ran over Inter Milan in the finals, putting five goals past the Italians.

It was a one-sided show, and PSG haven’t just won but have told the entire Europe that their masterpiece has been perfected. They have finally arrived, and all of Europe should know that they have indeed fixed their puzzle and can compete at the highest level and for the highest honors.
