PSG made history by reaching their second-ever UEFA Champions League final after beating Arsenal 3-1 on aggregate in the semifinals.

It was a historic moment for the club, which has been labelled as a money-spent club with nothing to show for it. PSG has been known as a super team, gathering superstars from across the world with the aim of building the biggest club in France. Of course, they are the biggest club in France, but without a European trophy.

Every season they enter the Champions League, it doesn’t end as expected. For years, they have looked like a toothless opponent in the Champions League, but this season, it feels different. It feels like all the investments may finally pay off. By beating Arsenal, they reached their second-ever UCL final after 17 UCL campaigns.

In 2020, they reached their first-ever UCL final but fell to a narrow loss against Bayern Munich, who came out 1-0 winners.

Now, they have arrived again and in style. What the trio of Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar couldn’t achieve while at the club, Enrique has masterminded. With a tricky front four and an unstoppable midfield, Luis Enrique has pulled an impressive campaign from the Parisians. Their route to the final hasn’t been an easy one, but they survived. They beat all the Premier League teams in the Champions League on their journey to the final.

Luis Enrique even made a slight dig at the Premier League with talks about who the farmers’ league is.

For fans and lovers of Paris Saint-Germain, this feels surreal. They’re here again, and there’s a strong belief that they can win the trophy when they take on Inter Milan in Munich.
