Oscar Bobb says “it was an easy decision” to move to London after being impressed by Fulham’s project

Manchester City have sold highly rated winger Oscar Bobb to Premier League side Fulham, the club have confirmed.

Bobb broke into the City first team in 2023 and Guardiola heaped praise on him as a special talent. But he missed much of last season through injuries and this season City’s squad depth has limited his chances.

Guardiola warned at the start of the season that the club needed to trim the squad, and the signing of forward Antoine Semenyo this winter has only added to the numbers.

The 22-year-old Bobb has signed a five-and-a-half-year contract at Fulham, which will keep him in west London until the summer of 2031.

“It feels great to be here,” Bobb said after his unveiling. “I had a great day meeting everyone and I’m very excited. I’ve always known Fulham to be a good club, with good players and a great stadium. It was an easy decision.”

The Norway international also reserved some appreciation for Guardiola and his old teammates at City.

Thank you to everyone, to Pep, the coaches, all my incredible team mates and the fantastic City fans who have been so supportive to me,” Bobb said. “I wish nothing but the best for the club.”
