Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner denies reports of aspiring to become Bayern Munich coach.

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has addressed recent rumors linking him to a potential future role as Bayern Munich coach.

The speculation began after a transfer expert claimed that Glasner had aspirations to join the German giants. However, Glasner has rubbished these reports, expressing amusement at the idea that others think they know his desires without having spoken to him directly.

“I follow the media relatively little,” Glasner said at the Austrian Sports Aid Gala 2025. “I’ve trained myself not to pay too much attention to the media, whether after a win or a loss, because I’ve realised that a lot of nonsense is written.”

Glasner took charge of Crystal Palace in February 2024 and has since led the team to some impressive results. His tenure has been marked by a clear philosophy centered on attacking football, which has resonated with fans and players alike.

“The philosophy is easy; it is scoring goals,” he explained in a previous interview. “As I tell the players, this is why we started playing football. No one went on the pitch when they were young to defend.”

Despite the speculation surrounding his future, Glasner seems committed to his current role at Crystal Palace. His priority is to build on the progress the team has made under his leadership, and he appears focused on achieving success in the Premier League
