Olise has performed brilliantly in the Club World Cup and currently, he’s the best player in the competition, better than the likes of Messi, Haaland, and Vinicius.
There has been an exciting crop of talent in this Club World Cup. We have seen talents from Europe and outside of Europe turning the game on its head, but one name has stuck in the mouths of fans and pundits. Michael Olise lit up this competition throughout the group stage.

Olise has been Bayern Munich’s best player and, by far, the best player in the competition.
He is the highest-rated player in the group stage with five goal contributions in the group stage. He is tied with Angel Di Maria, Kenan Yildiz, and Jamal Musiala with 3 goals, the highest in the competition, while earning 2 assists so far, which is the joint highest in the competition.
His playing style sees the French winger glide past defenders with ease and help Bayern dictate play.

He showed his class in the game against Boca Juniors. He scored an olimpico earlier in that game, although it was later cancelled after an infringement in the box. He later won the game for Bayern after passing a low-driven shot into the back of the net.
Many Bayern Munich fans say they won’t be here without Olise, and they have a valid argument. He’s had the most impact in the competition and if he continues in this form, we may be witnessing an elite-level performance from the youngster.
