Nottingham Forest’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace has added more bite to the Premier League’s top-four race.

Their recent fixture in the Premier League saw Palace take the lead through an Eberechi Eze penalty, only for Forest to equalize via Murillo.

Despite Palace’s dominance in expected goals and late chances, the game ended in a stalemate.

This result leaves them in sixth place, two points behind Chelsea and Newcastle, with three games remaining. Their recent form, getting just one win in the last five matches, raises concerns about their ability to secure a Champions League spot.

The draw also impacts the broader top-four landscape, with Chelsea and Newcastle now holding a slight advantage over Nottingham Forest with three games to go.

If Forest wants to qualify for the UCL next season, they have to grind out good results from their next three games. Upcoming fixtures against Leicester, West Ham, and Chelsea will be decisive in determining their European qualification hopes.
