Rasmus Hojlund’s brace leads Napoli to a thrilling 2-1 win over Juventus, handing Luciano Spalletti his first defeat as Juventus boss.

Napoli secured a crucial 2-1 victory over Juventus at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, thanks to Rasmus Hojlund’s impressive brace.

The match was a tale of two halves, with Napoli dominating the early stages. Scott McTominay’s header skimmed the post, but it was only a warning shot as David Neres’ clever run and cross set up Hojlund for the opener minutes later. The Dane’s toe-poke finish was his first goal in two months.

Juventus fought back, and Kenan Yildiz’s stunning equalizer gave them hope. However, Napoli restored their lead when McKennie inadvertently assisted Hojlund’s header, sealing the win.

The win marks Luciano Spalletti’s first defeat as Juventus manager, and it’s a bitter pill to swallow given his history with Napoli, having led them to the Scudetto in 2023.
