Two first-team coaches have left Tottenham Hotspur as Igor Tudor officially takes over from Thomas Frank

Igor Tudor has officially taken over at Tottenham, following Thomas Frank’s sacking. The former Juventus coach was appointed as interim coach on Saturday, and on his first working day, there has been some changes at the club.

Tudor has brought with him three new backroom staff, and this has led to the departure of two first-team coaches who worked closely with Thomas Frank during his time at the club.

Frank’s assistant, John Heitinga, who joined about a month ago, will leave the club. He was formerly at Ajax before being sacked, which led to him joining Tottenham. He was considered as an option for the interim job but Tottenham later went with Tudor.

First-team coaches Justin Cochrane and Chris Haslam, who had followed Frank from Brentford, will also depart.

To fill their roles, Tudor has picked Ivan Javorcic as his assistant, while Riccardo Raganacci and Tomislav Rogic will arrive as a physical and goalkeeping coach respectively. They were all part of Tudor’s team at Juventus and will continue working with him at Tottenham as they figure out a way to return the club to winning ways.

The main task on their hands will be getting Tottenham ready to play Arsenal and immediately leave the relegation waters.
