Liverpool FC have officially announced that Mohamed Salah has signed a new two-year contract extension, keeping him at Anfield until 2027. The 32-year-old Egyptian forward, who joined the Reds from AS Roma in 2017, has been instrumental in the club’s recent successes. 

Salah’s decision to extend his stay comes amid a stellar season where he has netted 32 goals and provided 22 assists across all competitions, reaffirming his status as one of the Premier League’s elite players.

In a statement, Salah expressed his motivation for renewing his contract:

 “I feel great and excited to win trophies with the club. It’s a happy day for everyone.”
