According to multiple sources in England, Wolves have accepted Crystal Palace’s offer for the Norway international. Strand Larsen is set to undergo his medical with the South London club on Sunday, signalling that the transfer is close to completion.

Reports claim the deal has been agreed between the clubs, with Palace’s proposal understood to be worth £43 million, with a further £5 million in performance-related add-ons. The total package would take the fee close to €55 million.
This development is significant for Milan, who are pushing to bring Mateta to Serie A before the winter transfer window closes. Palace have been reluctant to sanction the French striker’s departure without first securing a replacement.
Italian outlets reported earlier in the week that AC Milan had already reached an agreement in principle with Palace over a €30 million transfer for Mateta, but the move was dependent on Palace strengthening their attacking options.
