Mikel Arteta Urges Arsenal to Deliver ‘Special’ Performance in Paris

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta acknowledged the challenge ahead after his team’s 1-0 home defeat to PSG in the Champions League semi-final first leg. 

Despite the setback, Arteta remains optimistic about his team’s chances in the return leg in Paris.

Arteta emphasized the need for a “special” performance to overcome the deficit, stating, “We have to go there and produce something special to turn it around” . 

He highlighted the importance of resilience and belief, urging his players to rise to the occasion.

The Arsenal manager also called on the fans to provide unwavering support, recognizing their role in inspiring the team.

 “We need our supporters to be behind us every step of the way,” he said. Arteta’s rallying cry reflects his determination to keep the team’s Champions League aspirations alive.

With the second leg scheduled for May 7 in Paris, Arsenal faces an uphill task. However, under Arteta’s guidance, the team remains focused on delivering a performance worthy of a place in the final.
