Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an encouraging update on Bukayo Saka’s condition following the team’s 4-0 victory over Ipswich Town.

Saka, who was instrumental in the win with two assists, was forced off after a dangerous tackle by Ipswich defender Leif Davis, who received a straight red card for the challenge.

The incident raised concerns about Saka’s fitness, especially with crucial fixtures on the horizon.

Addressing the media post-match, Arteta alleviated fears by stating that Saka’s injury “doesn’t look anything serious.” He acknowledged that while the winger experienced discomfort, the initial assessment suggests no significant damage.

Arteta emphasized the importance of monitoring Saka’s recovery in the coming days to determine his availability for upcoming matches, including the Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain.

Saka’s performance against Ipswich was impressive, and his return from injury has brought much joy to Arsenal fans. His early contributions helped set the tone for Arsenal’s dominant display. It is expected that he will be available to face PSG next week.
