Brentford have yet to accept the offer but it aligns with their valuation of the player
Manchester United have submitted a new bid worth up to £70m for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo.
The club are eager to make the Cameroon international their third signing of the summer. The revised proposal includes £65m guaranteed and a further £5m in performance-based add-ons.
Brentford have yet to accept the offer, but it aligns closely with their valuation of the player. The club have made it clear they are willing to sell once United meet their asking price. United previously submitted bids worth £55m and then £65m, but they were both rejected.
Mbeumo scored 20 goals in the Premier League last season to finish third in the goalscoring charts. The Cameroon international has expressed a desire to join United this summer despite rival interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
United head coach Ruben Amorim is eager to have the 25-year-old on board before the squad depart for their pre-season tour of the United States next week.
