Manchester United forward Amad Diallo is back training on grass, after sustaining an injury in February.

Amad posted a video of himself on social media on Monday sprinting on grass, suggesting that he could make his way back to the pitch before the end of season.

The winger sustained an ankle injury in February during a training session ahead of the club’s game away to Tottenham. Initial assessment was that Amad would be out for the rest of the season.

However, with the Ivorian now likely to return to the squad before season end, he could provide the club with some much needed help up front, particularly if United reach the Europa League final.

Amad scored nine goals and made eight assists before his injury, in a period when he was undoubtedly United’s best player.
