Benjamin Sesko was also involved in Monday’s session
Manchester United have received a double player boost ahead of their Premier League opener against Arsenal, with Andre Onana and Joshua Zirkzee both returning to full training.
The pair had missed the entirety of pre-season through injury but rejoined the main group at the newly refurbished Carrington this week. Both travelled with the squad on their pre-season tour of the United States, where they continued individual recovery work.
Onana had been sidelined with a hamstring injury sustained earlier in the summer, while the club did not disclose the nature of Zirkzee’s problem.
Also involved in Monday’s session was Benjamin Sesko, who trained with his new team-mates for the first time since completing a move from RB Leipzig worth up to £74m.
The striker has vowed to help United “fly high again” ahead of a make-or-break season.
United face Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday, 17 August in their first league fixture of the season.
