Talks ongoing between the two clubs; Guardiola confirmed 22-year-old wants to leave
Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb is close to joining Fulham, with both clubs close to reaching an agreement.
Bobb joined City as a youth player in 2019 and made his Premier League debut against Fulham in 2023. But then although he received praise from Pep Guardiola, he missed nearly all of the next season due to injuries.
He has played 15 games for the club so far this season but the arrival of Antoine Semenyo has further pushed him down the pecking order. It is thought that Fulham’s Marco Silva rates the player and he will get more minutes playing in the West London club.
Guardiola suggested on Saturday that the 22-year-old could leave.
“I know there are rumours, I know there are talks, but I don’t know right now,” Guardiola initially said, but when asked again if he thought Bobb wanted to leave the club, City’s manager responded, “I think so.”
Bobb last played for City in December when he featured in the Carabao Cup quarter-final match against Brentford, starting the game but getting forced off in the opening minutes due to injury.
Fulham are seventh in the Premier League and eyeing up qualification for Europe next season.
