Midfielder is reportedly unsatisfied with his prospects under Amorim and wants a move away

Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has drawn interest from clubs both in the Premier League and across Europe, with the player considering an Old Trafford exit.

Mainoo broke into the United first team in the 2023-24 season but has struggled for game time this season.

The 20-year-old has been named on the bench for both of United’s league matches so far this term but has yet to feature in any, with head coach Ruben Amorim insisting he is competing directly with captain Bruno Fernandes for a place in midfield.

The young midfielder is reportedly unsatisfied with his prospects under Amorim and wants a move away.

Both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have considered a deal for Mainoo this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

United expressed a willingness to sell the academy graduate back in January and have not ruled out a sale this summer, although, much like with Alejandro Garnacho, it is understood they will only sell on conditions suitable to the club.
