Madueke Joins Arsenal From Chelsea

Arsenal has signed England international Noni Madueke from Chelsea on a long-term contract, strengthening their squad with a dynamic and versatile wide forward player.

Arsenal have welcomed Noni Madueke to the team, signing the 23-year-old England international from Chelsea on a long-term contract.

Madueke, a north London native, brings a wealth of experience and talent to the squad, having made 92 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions. The powerful winger’s journey began at Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur’s youth academies before moving to PSV Eindhoven in 2018.

Madueke’s rapid progress at PSV Eindhoven saw him break into the first team as a 17-year-old, impressing with his direct attacking style.

He made 80 first-team appearances for the Dutch side before joining Chelsea in January 2023. Representing England through the youth levels, Madueke made his full debut last September against Finland, marking his first cap with an assist. He has played seven times for the Three Lions and is expected to make a significant impact at Arsenal.

Arsenal are excited with the signing as Sporting Director Andrea Berta praising the player’s exceptional performance numbers and professionalism.

Mikel Arteta is also excited about the arrival of Madueke, highlighting his quality, experience, and versatility as a wide forward player. Madueke will wear the number 20 shirt and is expected to join up with the squad in early August.
