Luciano Spalletti Set to Take Over as Juventus Head Coach

Former Italy National Team Coach.

Juventus could announce Luciano Spalletti as new head coach, with face-to-face talks set for Tuesday and a potential short-term contract on offer.

Juventus are set to hold crucial talks with Luciano Spalletti, the former Napoli and Italy head coach, to discuss a potential appointment as their new head coach. This comes after Igor Tudor was relieved of his duties on Monday, following an eight-match winless streak.

Spalletti is reportedly inclined to accept Juventus’ terms, with a contract offer until the end of the 2025-26 season and an option to renew if they qualify for next season’s Champions League. The exact duration of the contract extension remains uncertain, with possibilities of either 12 months or two years.

According to reports, Spalletti has rejected opportunities abroad, including Fenerbahce and lucrative proposals from Qatar, to focus on a return to Serie A.

Face-to-face talks between Juventus and Spalletti are scheduled for Tuesday, with the club eager to finalize their new head coach appointment.

Juventus’ struggles under Tudor, including four consecutive matches without scoring, have prompted the club to seek fresh leadership. Spalletti’s experience and success in Serie A make him a strong contender.

Raffaele Palladino and Marco Silva are also potential candidates, but Spalletti is currently the frontrunner.
