Thomas Frank praises Archie Gray’s performance after scoring his first senior goal, but fears new injury concerns for Lucas Bergvall.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Thomas Frank has heaped praise on young midfielder Archie Gray after his impressive performance against Crystal Palace. Gray scored his first senior goal, helping Spurs secure a 1-0 win.
Gray’s goal showcased his alertness and quality, according to Frank. “I love that goal, because he’s alert, he’s seen where the ball will land, and he’s ready on it.” he said.
However, Spurs’ joy was tempered by Lucas Bergvall’s injury scare. The young midfielder was forced off in the 63rd minute with a possible groin injury.
Frank hopes Bergvall will be fit for Thursday’s game against Brentford. “Yes, I hope so… of course, we will assess him tomorrow,” he said.
Gray’s goal and Bergvall’s injury are key talking points as Spurs aim to build momentum.
