Chelsea started their tenure under Liam Rosenior with a 5-1 win over Charlton in the FA Cup.
Liam Rosenior officially began his tenure with Chelsea and Chelsea fans are happy to see him start with a win.
Chelsea had a good first half, creating chances and showing that they are the Premier League side in the clash. The Blues kept knocking on the door and in first half stoppage time, Hato gave them the lead through a volley in the box.
A few minutes into the second half, Chelsea made it 2-0 through Tosin who headed in a free kick from close range. As the Blues were asserting their dominance, Charlton shook things up by scoring from a corner but it didn’t help their cause as Chelsea piled on more goals.
Guiu made it 3-1 before substitutes Neto and Fernandez added two more goals late in the second half to seal the game 5-1.
Chelsea will now prepare to face Arsenal in three days time in the EFL Cup.
