Juventus are reportedly willing to part ways with centre-back Federico Gatti this summer, but only if the right offer comes along.
The 27-year-old has attracted interest from Milan, Napoli, and several Premier League clubs, with Juventus valuing him at around €25 million.
Both AC Milan and Napoli inquired about the defender during the summer but nothing materialized from those talks.
According to reports, Massimiliano Allegri, Gatti’s former coach at Juventus, made a phone call to discuss a potential move to Milan. However, the Rossoneri management wasn’t unanimous in their decision, and the situation was put on hold.
For now, Gatti is focused on regaining his spot in Luciano Spalletti’s starting lineup and securing a place in the Italy national team squad for the upcoming World Cup play-offs in March. If Italy qualifies, he’ll also be aiming for a spot in the final World Cup squad.
Gatti joined Juventus from Frosinone in 2022 for a fee of €7.5 million plus bonuses, and has since become a key player for the Bianconeri. His contract runs until 2028, but Juventus is open to selling him this summer if the price is right.
Several Premier League clubs, including Everton and Newcastle United, have reportedly expressed interest in Gatti, who would be a bargain at €25 million. However, Juventus is unlikely to sell him for less than their asking price.
