Juventus is set for changes in its leadership structure, with a new president expected to be appointed in November and Damien Comolli set to take over as CEO.

Juventus is on the cusp of a major overhaul in its control room, with the club’s owner, John Elkann, reportedly seeking a new president to take the reins in November.

According to reports, Elkann is looking for a candidate with a strong background in various fields, including football, politics, and finance, who can serve as a representative figurehead rather than an operational role.

The current president, Gianluca Ferrero, who was appointed in January 2023 after Andrea Agnelli’s resignation, may be replaced as Elkann considers a change at the helm. Despite Elkann’s trust in Ferrero, the club owner believes it’s time for a new face to lead the Bianconeri.

Ferrero and current CEO Maurizio Scanavino might be offered different roles within the club or appointed to new positions at Exor, the Agnelli family’s holding company.

Meanwhile, Damien Comolli is set to be promoted to CEO, giving him more power and influence over the club’s operations. Comolli’s appointment is seen as a significant move, and he will work closely with the new president to shape Juventus’ future.

Interestingly, Comolli’s potential arrival at Juventus was previously linked to a possible appointment of Antonio Conte as the club’s head coach.

Another significant development is the potential inclusion of Giorgio Chiellini in the board of directors. Chiellini, a Juventus legend, has been serving as the Head of Football Institutional Relations since September 2024 and could be offered a more hands-on role in the future.

The leadership changes are part of Juventus’ efforts to revamp its structure and achieve its financial goals. Despite the change in leadership, the club’s financial targets remain unchanged, with the aim of becoming entirely self-sustainable over the next few years while remaining competitive on the pitch.
