After struggling to break down their opponents in the opening period, Juventus eventually surged to a comfortable win while maintaining their unbeaten record in 16 league meetings with Pisa.
Despite Juventus controlling possession early in the match, Pisa created the first real chance inside five minutes. Stefano Moreo connected with a cross from Samuele Angori, forcing Mattia Perin into an awkward save that also required help from the post to keep the ball out.
Juventus gradually began to threaten at the other end, although their early efforts lacked precision. Khephren Thuram fired an attempt over the bar, while Francesco Coppola cleared Francisco Conceicao’s dangerous curling cross before it could reach its target.
The hosts continued to press for the opener as Federico Gatti headed straight at goalkeeper Nicolas Andrade. Conceicao also tested the Pisa defence again, but Andrade reacted well to deny the winger’s strike as the visitors remained resilient.
Pisa still posed occasional problems on the counterattack, with Rafiu Durosinmi proving a lively presence in attack. However, their finishing lacked sharpness as Moreo failed to trouble Perin with another header, while Mehdi Leris saw his effort strike a teammate.
Juventus finally broke the deadlock early in the second half after tactical changes from manager Luciano Spalletti. Kenan Yildiz played a crucial role in the move, lifting a cross to the far post where Andrea Cambiaso arrived to head the ball into the net.
The breakthrough sparked a flurry of goals for the hosts. Just 11 minutes later, Manuel Locatelli’s shot struck the post and rebounded kindly for Thuram, who calmly slid the ball into the net to double Juventus’ advantage.
With the game firmly under control, Juventus added two more goals late on. Yildiz blasted a powerful effort beyond Nicolas before Jeremie Boga rounded the goalkeeper and finished calmly to seal the emphatic victory.
The result ended Juventus’ four-match winless run in Serie A while condemning bottom-placed Pisa to a fourth consecutive defeat.
