Juventus has resumed talks with Inter midfielder Davide Frattesi’s agent, seeking to secure the Italy international’s services in the January transfer window.
Juventus has resumed talks with Inter midfielder Davide Frattesi’s agent, Beppe Riso, as the Italy international seeks more playing time.
Frattesi has been struggling with playing time this season, falling down Cristian Chivu’s pecking order at Inter.
The midfielder’s representative recently held talks with Juventus representatives at the club’s headquarters, with the meeting described as a courtesy visit.
Frattesi has only played 480 minutes of football across all competitions this season, providing two assists in Coppa Italia against Serie B side Venezia.
His contract expires in June 2028, and Inter will be reluctant to sell the midfielder to a direct rival, so their asking price won’t be below €35m.
Frattesi is open to leaving Inter next month and is on good terms with Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti. The Inter midfielder was the best Italy scorer during Spalletti’s tenure, finding the net seven times.
Juventus had already set their sights on Frattesi in previous years and sees him as a valuable addition to their squad. The club is looking to strengthen its midfield and Frattesi’s experience and skill make him an attractive prospect.
Inter are unlikely to sell Frattesi cheaply, but Juventus is willing to make a push for the midfielder in the January transfer window.
