Juventus rejects Chelsea’s €68 million offer for Kenan Yildiz and is close to extending his contract, valuing the young star at a higher price.

Juventus has turned down Chelsea’s lucrative offer for Kenan Yildiz, showing their commitment to keeping the young talent. The English club tabled a bid of around €68 million, but Juventus insisted that Yildiz is not for sale. This decision comes as no surprise, given Yildiz’s impressive performances for the Bianconeri.

The 19-year-old has been a standout player for Juventus, netting 12 goals and providing nine assists last season. His impressive form played a significant role in Juventus’s Champions League qualification. Yildiz also had an excellent Club World Cup campaign, scoring three goals and two assists before Juventus lost to Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.

Chelsea’s interest in Yildiz is no secret, but Juventus are confident in their young star’s abilities. They are working on a contract renewal for Yildiz, who is currently under contract until 2029. The new deal is expected to extend his contract for one more year, with a significant salary increase to €4 million per season, nearly double his current salary.

Yildiz’s value to Juventus goes beyond his on-field performances. He is regarded as the future of the Turkish national team, with two goals in 21 international appearances.

His growth and development will be crucial for Igor Tudor’s side as they compete for the Scudetto and the Champions League this season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea has turned their attention to RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons, agreeing on personal terms with the Netherlands star. Leipzig values Simons at €70 million, and it remains to be seen whether Chelsea can secure his services.
