Atalanta held Juventus to a 1-1 draw in Turin, surviving a late onslaught from the home side after being reduced to 10 men.

The match between Juventus and Atalanta ended in a 1-1 draw, with both teams creating scoring opportunities throughout the game.

Atalanta took the lead just before halftime, courtesy of Kamaldeen Sulemana’s impressive solo effort. Sulemana’s mazy run after Vasilije Adzic was robbed in midfield left the Juventus defense struggling to keep up.

The first half was a tightly contested affair, with both teams matching each other in terms of intensity and determination.

Juventus dominated possession and territory in the second half but struggled to create clear-cut chances against Atalanta’s disciplined defensive structure.

However, the tide turned midway through the second half when Juan Cabal, introduced from the bench, scored a crucial goal for Juventus, poking the ball in from six yards after an Odilon Kossounou clearance.

Atalanta’s task became even more harder shortly after Cabal’s goal when Marten de Roon was red carded, leaving his team with 10 men.

Despite being outnumbered, Atalanta held firm, with every player contributing defensively to protect their point. Juventus, on the other hand, poured forward in search of a winner, with Edon Zhegrova playing a key role in creating opportunities.

Despite their dominance, Juventus were unable to find the breakthrough, with Atalanta’s defense proving resilient.
