Juventus booked their spot in the round of 16 of the Club World Cup after a 4-1 thrashing of Wydad AC in their second group game.
Juventus have now scored nine goals in the Club World Cup after putting four goals past Wydad AC in their second group game of the Club World Cup.
Juventus came into the game as favourites and they delivered on promise. Although Wydad tried to keep themselves in the game, Juventus struck the African side in decisive moments, taking the game away with each goal.
Yildiz, who earned the man of the match award, was brilliant from start to finish. He saw his shot deflect into goal to give Juve the lead. The goal was awarded as an own goal to Boutouil but Yildiz struck again. The Turkish winger hit a ferocious shot from the edge of the box into the top corner to the amazement of Juve fans and the bewilderment of the Wydad AC coaching crew.
Wydad AC pulled themselves back into the game through a goal by Lorch and they played like they would equalize in a matter of minutes but Yildiz weaved his magic again. He latched onto a pass from Kolo Muani before sitting down a defender and slotting it into the far corner. Juventus put the game to bed in the closing minutes as substitute Vlahovic scored from the penalty spot.
Juventus now have nine goals from two games in the Club World Cup and will face Manchester City next.
