Juventus suffered a heavy 3-0 home defeat to Atalanta, crashing out of the Coppa Italia at the quarter-final stage for a second straight season.
Juventus were emphatically knocked out of the Coppa Italia on Tuesday night as Atalanta produced a dominant 3-0 victory to book their place in the semi-finals. The result also extended La Dea’s unbeaten run against the Old Lady to four competitive meetings, dating back to their Coppa Italia final defeat in 2024.

Juventus made an electric start in Turin, almost taking the lead inside the opening seconds when Francisco Conceicao slipped in Khephren Thuram, only for the midfielder to guide his effort wide. Manuel Locatelli then tested the Atalanta defence, with Berat Djimsiti throwing himself in the way of a dangerous attempt as Juventus applied early pressure.
Atalanta gradually found their rhythm, with Charles De Ketelaere and Davide Zappacosta both denied by last-ditch interventions from Lloyd Kelly. Conceicao remained Juventus’ most threatening outlet, delivering a cross that Jonathan David headed wide before the winger struck the crossbar after cutting inside from the right.
The deadlock was eventually broken in the 27th minute following a VAR review, as Gleison Bremer was penalised for handball inside the box. Gianluca Scamacca stepped up and confidently sent Mattia Perin the wrong way from the penalty spot to hand Atalanta a crucial lead.
Juventus pushed for a response before the interval, with Bremer narrowly missing the target from a header and Locatelli firing a free-kick just wide. Honest Ahanor also denied Weston McKennie as Atalanta reached the break with their advantage intact.
The hosts showed intent after the restart but struggled to convert possession into clear chances. Jeremie Boga, making his first appearance since November, added energy off the bench, yet McKennie and Kelly both failed to find the target.
Atalanta sealed the contest late on through the impact of their substitutes. Kamaldeen Sulemana finished Raoul Bellanova’s cross just minutes after being introduced. Mario Pasalic added a killing blow after calmly finding the bottom corner from Nikola Krstovic’s pass. The win sets up a semi-final clash with either Bologna or Lazio and condemns Juventus to a second consecutive Coppa Italia quarter-final exit.
