Juventus are exploring a late move for Everton striker Beto after talks for Youssef En-Nesyri collapsed.

Juventus have identified Everton forward Beto as a potential last-minute solution as they continue their search for a new centre-forward before the transfer window closes.

The Bianconeri were forced to look elsewhere after negotiations with En-Nesyri broke down, with the striker unwilling to accept Juventus’ proposed terms. Juventus are currently only prepared to pursue a loan deal with an option to buy, a structure that also proved to be a stumbling block in talks for En-Nesyri.

Beto has now emerged as a realistic alternative, although it remains unclear whether the Everton striker would be open to a temporary move to Turin if an agreement is reached between the clubs.

According to reports, Everton have placed a €20 million valuation on the Portuguese-born forward. Intermediaries are reportedly already working behind the scenes to explore the feasibility of a deal involving all parties.

Beto is not the only name on Juventus’ shortlist, with the club also holding talks with Crystal Palace over Mateta and resuming discussions with Manchester United regarding Joshua Zirkzee.
