Juventus wins 2-1 against Atalanta in a pre-season friendly match, with goals from Jonathan David and Dusan Vlahovic.

Juventus secured a 2-1 victory over Atalanta in a pre-season friendly match, with Jonathan David and Dusan Vlahovic leading the charge for the Turin-based side. The match was played at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo.

The deadlock was broken in the 73rd minute when Jonathan David scored his first goal for Juventus with an impressive acrobatic finish. David reacted quickly to a ricochet off Davide Zappacosta to beat the Atalanta goalkeeper and give Juventus the lead.

Just two minutes later, Vlahovic doubled Juventus’ advantage, running onto a pass from fellow substitute Joao Mario to score one-on-one against Marco Carnesecchi.

Atalanta refused to give up, and Lazar Samardzic pulled one back for the hosts with a stunning solo effort. Samardzic controlled the ball with a perfect first touch, skipped past Pierre Kalulu and Filip Kostic, and fired into the net, showcasing his exceptional skill and technique.

The match was a valuable test for both teams as they prepare for the upcoming Serie A season. Juventus will take confidence from their victory, while Atalanta will look to build on their promising performance and address areas that need improvement.

The win marks a positive end to Juventus’ pre-season campaign, and the team will now focus on fine-tuning their tactics and preparing for the challenges ahead.
