Juventus are preparing for Dusan Vlahovic to see out the final year of his contract, potentially as a third-choice striker, due to lack of serious offers for the Serbian striker.

Juventus are increasingly likely to accept that Dusan Vlahovic will depart on a free transfer next summer, given the absence of substantial offers for the 25-year-old striker. Despite the club’s efforts to sell Vlahovic, his high salary of €12 million in the final year of his contract has deterred potential suitors.

The Serbian striker’s value is pegged at around €40-50 million by Juventus, but no serious bids have materialized. Fenerbahce, led by Jose Mourinho, has expressed interest and offered €30-35 million for Vlahovic, with a proposed annual salary of €10 million. However, Vlahovic has reportedly turned down this offer, prioritizing a move to the Premier League.

Milan has also explored the possibility of signing Vlahovic, but his €12 million salary is a significant obstacle. The Rossoneri would need Vlahovic to cut his salary in half to around €6-7 million per season, and Juventus would have to accept a transfer fee of €10-15 million.

Vlahovic’s potential departure would be a significant financial blow to Juventus, considering they paid over €70 million to sign him from Fiorentina in 2022. If he stays, he might become the third-choice striker behind new signing Jonathan David and potential returnee Randal Kolo Muani.

According to reports, Vlahovic is prepared to sit out the 2025-26 season to leave Juventus on a free transfer next summer. This scenario would allow him to join a top club without any transfer fees.

Juventus hopes to find a resolution soon, possibly through a meeting between Vlahovic’s agent and the club’s general manager, Damien Comolli. The aim is to determine Vlahovic’s future and potentially find a mutually beneficial solution.
