Bayern Munich’s Jonathan Tah is eager for a rematch against Arsenal after their 3-1 loss in the Champions League, believing his team can bounce back stronger.
Bayern Munich defender Jonathan Tah is fired up for revenge against Arsenal, determined to avenge their 3-1 loss in the Champions League in November.
Despite the defeat, Tah insists Arsenal wasn’t significantly better than Bayern, saying, “We didn’t feel like they were that much better than us”
Tah believes the loss has given Bayern a confidence boost, stating, “When you measure yourself against the best, you get a sense of where you stand. That gives the team a lot of confidence.”
The German club has been on a successful run, with the loss to Arsenal being their only defeat so far this season. Tah is eager for a rematch, saying, “After the match, we actually felt more like: Okay, next time. We’d love to play Arsenal again!”
Tah even hinted at a potential Champions League final against Arsenal, saying, “The match against Arsenal would have been a great final”
