Jamal Musiala intensifies recovery efforts as he aims to return for Bayern Munich’s Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid.
Jamal Musiala is pushing to recover from injury in time for Bayern Munich’s UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash with Real Madrid.
The attacking midfielder will miss upcoming internationals for the Germany national football team against the Switzerland national football team and the Ghana national football team after his ankle began causing discomfort again.
According to reports, Musiala has stepped up his rehabilitation, reportedly working up to eight hours each day as he looks to speed up his recovery. Despite his determination, the 23-year-old is keen to avoid rushing back too soon. The current plan is for him to rejoin team training next week before gradually being reintegrated into competitive action.

With alternatives such as Serge Gnabry and Lennart Karl available in attacking midfield, Musiala is expected to miss Bayern’s upcoming Bundesliga fixture against Freiburg.
The primary target for his return is the first leg of Bayern’s Champions League quarter-final in Spain against Real Madrid, scheduled for early April, provided his recovery continues smoothly. Looking beyond the club campaign, Musiala is also focused on regaining full fitness ahead of the World Cup this summer, where he hopes to play a key role for Germany on the biggest stage.
