Rogers, who scored the first goal of the game and Villa’s only goal, was pretty disappointed at the end of 90 minutes.
His early goal had given Villa the lead in the 35th minute of the game. The goal took his tally in the Champions League to four goals, showing his influence on Villa’s attack.
The 22-year-old winger took to his Instagram after the defeat to inspire Villa fans ahead of the second leg.
The winger wrote in his caption, ‘It’s not over.’ The post has now received appreciation from Villa fans and teammates as they prepare for the second leg.
